PAF Education Branch | Syllabus | Test Pattern

Pakistan Air Force offers different vacancies at officer level in Education Branch also. Candidates who have done their master degree in English, mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Urdu, Islamic Studies, Pak Studies can apply in PAF and may become a commissioned officer.

Test Pattern and Syllabus of Religious Officer

If a candidate has his master degree in the subject of Islamic Studies and done Arabi Fazil course of 8 years then he may apply for commissioned officer in Education branch.

  1. Intelligence Test (100 MCQs in 35 Min & Passing Marks are 60%)
  2. Academic Test in Islamic Studies (75 MCQs in 25 Min & Passing Marks are 60%)
    • The Holy Quran: Recitation with Tajweed and Translation out of entire Holy Quran
    • Tafaseer : Tafseer Jalalain and Tafseer Baidhavi
    • Seerah of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) and History of 04 Caliphs (Hazrat Abu Bakr, Hazrat Umar, Hazrat Usman and Hazrat Ali RA)
    • Islam and the modern thought in the light of Shah Waliullah’s Hujjatullah Al Baligha
    • Usool-al-Hadith : Nukhbatul-Fikar, Islamic Jurisprudence: Al Hidayah, Usool-al-Fiqh: Usool al Shashi
    • Arabic Grammar : Al-Nahw al Wadhih or Hidayat-un-Nahw
    • Hadith : Basic knowledge about six authentic books of Hadith (Sihah-e-Sitta)
  3. Psychological Tests (Bio Data Form, Merits & Demerits, Urdu Sentence Completion, English Sentence Completion, Picture Story Writing, Pointer Story Writing, Words Association Tests and Unforgettable Incident)

General Pattern & Syllabus of Education Officers Branch

Candidates who are intended to apply after master degree of English, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Urdu, Pak Studies and International Relations then general pattern of tests is being followed in the initial tests at PAF Information & Selection Centers.

  1. Intelligence Test (100 MCQs in 35 Min & Passing Marks are 60%)
  2. Academic Test (75 MCQs in 25 Min & Passing Marks 60%)
  3. Psychological Tests (Bio Data Form, Merits & Demerits, Urdu Sentence Completion, English Sentence Completion, Picture Story Writing, Pointer Story Writing, Words Association Tests and Unforgettable Incident)
