Pakistan Army offers chance to become an Officer through Technical Cadet Course (TCC) every year. Candidates who have age between 17 to 21 years, they can apply for online registration through Army official website of Joinpakarmy.

Only male candidates can apply for technical cadet course who have minimum height of 5 feet and 4 inches.

Candidates must have F.Sc with pre-engineering and with minimum marks of 65%. If a students have A-Level then they must have O-Level with 5 subjects where they must have taught English as Compulsory subject. In A-Level, candidates must have studies Physics, maths, Chemistry/ Computer Studies/ Computer Sciences in Grade A to C.

Basic Selection Steps in TCC (Technical Cadet Course)

TCC (Technical Cadet Course) has the following selection steps in which a candidate has to be checked thoroughly for final selection to become an Army Officer.

  1. Online Registration at Army Official Website
  2. Verification of documents at Selection Center on the Date of Test with necessary documents
  3. Initial Intelligence and Academic Tests at Selection Center
  4. Physical Test
  5. Pre-Medical at Concerned Selection Center of Army
  6. Pre-Interview at Selection Center
  7. Submission of ISSB Forms
  8. Spending Five days at ISSB Center Kohat/ Malir/ Gujranwala
  9. Final Medical at nearest CMH
  10. Merit List and Reporting to the NUST, Rawalpindi
  11. Military Training at PMA Kakul Academy Abbotabbad
  12. Passing Out Parade

Technical Cadet Course (TCC) Syllabus & Subjects

Following subjects and syllabus is included in the initial tests of Pak Army Technical Cadet Course.

  1. Intelligence Tests
  2. English (English Grammar, Tenses, Parts of Speech, Narration, Active & Passive Voice, Translation, Fill in the blanks, Synonyms, Antonyms, Pair of Words, Idioms)
  3. Physics (Matric + FSc Books of Physics)
  4. Mathematics (Matric / O-Level, F.Sc / A-Level Books)
  5. ChemistryComputer Studies/ Computer Sciences (Basics Terminologies, Definitions, Formulas, Equations, Software, Hardware, at Least till F.Sc Level) (Students opt one of the subject in academic test)

Females can join Pak Army after graduation through Lady Cadet Corps (LCC) which is in multiple field vacancies. Female can also join PAF and Pak Navy as well. See at pakshaheens.com for more detail.

A candidate can join PAF as a Captain in Pak Army through Short Service Commission. After FSc a student can apply commission in Pak Army through PMA Long Course or can apply in PAF or Navy commission branches.
